Virtual Reality Glasses - 5th Grade

In our school fifth grade classes work with virtual Realty Glasses. Verd and Noa interviewed Teacher Adi who is the leader of this program. Read this interview to find out more.

Vered- “Why do you use virtual reality glasses”?

Teacher Adi- “Because we wanted to change the teaching methods in English and bring to class different methods that talk to children from their world of content and interest.”

Vered– “Did you want to teach something specific?”

Teacher Adi – “We wanted students to have an interest and curiosity about the English language.”

Vered– “Is this project for the whole grade or just one class?”

Teacher Adi – “The project is for the whole 5th grade.”

Vered– “Where did you get the virtual reality glasses?”

Teacher Adi – “When I was in USA I saw the virtual reality glasses in a dollar store and asked the principal Meirav to buy some pairs for the school and principal Meirav agreed.”

Vered– “When do you use the virtual reality glasses?”

Teacher Adi – “During an English lesson after the teachers teach the classhow to write image descriptions.”

Vered– “How many times did you use the virtual reality glasses?”

Teacher Adi – “So far the class had experienced the virtual reality glasses once.”

Vered– “What would the virtual reality glasses contribute to the children?”

Teacher Adi – “We think that children who are afraid of the English language will love it more.”

Vered– “Do the children enjoy it?”

Teacher Adi – Yes, we think the children enjoyed it very much and they said they enjoyed it too.”
